Application Guide

New Concrete Surface

Smoothen the surface by sand paper and apply a coat of Rainbow Synthetic Under Coat Followed by Filling. After Filling is dry, Sand paper the surface and apply 2 coats of Rainbow Synthetic Enamel. In case the oil is coming out from the wood, remove oil by scraping and seal the oily portion by shellac solution prior to painting.

Steel/Metal Structure

Remove all the rust by sanding, rust removing solution or by flame, then apply one coat of Rainbow Red Oxide Primer, Followed by 2 coats of Rainbow Synthetic Enamel.

Colour Range: As per Rainbow Synthetic Enamel Shade Card.
Covering Capacity: Rainbow Synthetic Enamel covers 14-18 sq.m/ltr/coat.
Film Tickness: 25-35 micron per coat.
Number of Coats: At least 2 coats should be applied for proper finish and durability.
Composition: Based on oil modified Alkyd resin, and light fast pigments for better gloss and sustained finish.
Flash Point: Above 73˚F
Application: Rainbow Synthetic Enamel can be applied by Brush, Roller or Spray.
Drying Time: Rainbow Synthetic Enamel:
|1.Surface Dry 1-2 hours|
|2.Touch Dry 2-3 hours|
|3.Recoatable 16 hours|
Gloss: Glossy with Silky Finish.
Thinner: Mineral Turpentine should be used for appplication, depending on the substrate and method of application.
Packing: 0.91 Ltrs, 3.64 Ltrs and 14.56 Ltrs.
